Then i used redken but i would always run out and it just got to expensive plus i only could get it at my hairdresser not at a drugstore. I need help finding a new shampoo and conditioner. My hair is medium length it is light brown with blond highlights which im trying to grow out. It is normally pretty dry because it like to straighten it. Please help thank you

  1. I would say,

    Herbal Essence shampoo.

    It's fantastic.

I use the none of your frizzness shampoo. It's great.

You can check out the website, and see what shampoo best fits your hair.

    & it smells delicious :)

  2. Herbal essence- dangerously straight.

  3. Expensive and "only from your hairdresser" - the one who said the other stuff is no good.      UH-huh.    The hairdresser is making money off you by selling the overpriced stuff to you"she has her mark up in the price"

You got conned.  You hairdresser is a business person first, a friend third.(she has her own friends) You are just a customer.

I have gone thru a wide range of shampoos/conditioners out there and have found that even after using the so-called best, my hair gets tired of it and just isn't as soft and manageable anymore as it once was.  Either the product formula has changed (or been watered down), but it is like night and day when I switch to some other product.  Usually, the best time is when the product is brand new on the market, see if it works and then buy a couple bottles of the first batch stuff.   This holds true to shampoo, coffee, paint, room deoderizers.etc.

Right now, I am happy with the Aussie stuff.   My hair stays clean for days and dandruff free.

Would I buy from the hairdresser?  No.Basically it is same same in different bottles.  I have used br soap to Econo shampoo's right up to boutique stuff.       It seems the change out helps.  But bar soap is still bar soap, ug.   Better than nothing, but not by  much.
