  1. Contact your county's health department. Each state has it's own type of medical health coverage program with different enrollment requirements. Each state has the county you live in manage the enrollment process. For example, I live in Santa Cruz County in California. If you contact the Santa Cruz County health department, they'll direct you to an on-line application for the Central Coast Alliance for Health. They administer Medi-Cal insurance for those in need in my area.

  2. Unfortunately if you aren't disabled, pregnant, a child or on welfare, you don't qualify.

  3. States have some medicaid programs that cover emergency services for US citizens who are disabled or pregnant or for children.  A person who is permanently & totally disabled and qualifies for Social Security disability also qualifies for Medicare. There is no such thing as "free medical insurance" however.  Even a person who can get emergency Medicaid from their state is expected to REPAY it!  And of course, your taxes go up the more state aid is used.

What are you doing for food, rent, etc?  If you have no income, you have to find a way to get a job & earn some income, get your health insurance through your employer. A child must be supported by its parents, but adults have to support themselves.

  4. You want to look into Medicaid.  The monthly premium is on a sliding scale, and yes, that sliding scale can mean no cost.  At least, no cost to you.  Since you have an internet connection, you can google "Apply for Medicaid" (without the quotes) + <the state you live in> and it will bring you all the information you need.

  5. there is medicaid or medicare call your local health clinic such as wic and they can help you fill out all the paper work

  6. That would be, Medicaid.  If you have no income, and no one supports you, you should qualify.  It's run by each state.  It's welfare health insurance.

  7. I'd check with the county because there should be state sponsored medicare/medicaid. Ultimately there's no such thing as totally "free" health insurance, though that's about as close as you will come.

After all, there's a reason why 45 million Americans are withouth health insurance.

    Good luck.

  8. If you're in the US, I don't think there is such thing as free heatlh insurance.

If we did, we wouldn't have healthcare rich vs poor issues.

  9. can you apply for medicad or ask your doctor's office if they have a sliding fee scale for low income workers

  10. Say what?  Should have been born here, eh?

  11. Well, depends where you live. In WA if you go talk to a doctor or hospital, or just the basic welfare office they will show you how. But also, look into finding a job, if you have no income, how are you eating? There are many jobs out there!

  12. Go to your local health department or job and family services. They will put you on medicaid. It's totally free, even your prescriptions.

  13. Medicaid.  If it's an emergency, just walk into the nearest Emergency Room.
