I need help finding information on the Guadamuz family ancestry?

  1. There are a limited number of persons of the name in the social security death index, and a few immigration records at ancestry.com (not a free site) that point to the name being from Nicaragua, and probably within the last 100 yrs.

    Birth and death certificates are a key part of research, and you will not find those online. Nor will you always find info about living persons.  Assuming you make the effort to find the info in the US... your search will shift to the country of origin and their records.  I'll wager you that very very little (if anything) from there will be on the internet.

    This might help you, to get some ideas as to what is involved.  The social security death index is also there at rootsweb, free.  Census records are usually a major part of finding info, unless your ancestor did not immigrate until after 1930.  If so, you have to rely on the certificates and other types of documents.

    Most hobbies have some kind of cost to it.
