  1. I'm about your height and I use a 152-153 board. But if you don't weigh much you might want to go with a slightly shorter board or one that is more flexible. Check out the size calculator below. It should help you decide.

And it isn't all just about it coming up to your chin. If you weigh less than the board was meant to handle you will have a hard time flexing it. Don't pick a board based solely on it coming up to your chin, that is not the only factor that needs to be considered.

  2. I suggest you don't buy one off the internet but rather go to a store to look at them first hand. Find one you like and hold it vertically on one of it's ends and see how big it is compared to you. If you're looking to do tricks with it, get one that's shorter than your chin but if you're lookin for speed, get one that's to your chin or a little bigger. After you find one, strap into it before buying it and jump up to see if it's too heavy. It should feel like you could easily turn sideways with it and easily menuver with it. Hope this helps!

  3. go to the store. pick a board that goes up to around your chin, but it really just depends on what you like doing. If you like the rails and parks go a little shorter, but not shorter that your chest. If you like carving and riding the whole mountain, fast, go a little longer, but not much longer than to your eyes. im a all mountain rider and do both the park and slopes so i have a board that goes to my chin(164cm), but im also 6ft 2in. A'Lex has the right idea.
