hello, i am trying to gather several journal articles (scholarly journals would be great!) about issues related to special needs education. i am interested in maybe how specail needs students transition between high school and the work place or college. i can not seem to find anything online about these and i currently dont have access to a library (im on springbreak :D!) any help or direction as to where i could look for these kinds of articles would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance

  1. are you near any major cities-even  though its not a college library they mauy have journals-you don't have to live in that city to use the library-they may even have a co sharing agreement with your town that lets you take out their materials

  2. If you are a member of ASHA you can search their journal database, but most schools have online access to databases that you do not need to be in school to use. Your public library may have access to these too.  As long as you know the passwords you don't need to physically be in the library.

my favorite ones are ebscohost and proquest. There is also google scholar, but i am not a big fan of that one.

  3. you could allways type in special needs on www.google.com
