  1. These are a few that I've gone to over the years and have continued to enjoy:

    (Jewish Cuisine) Consider:

    Canter's Restaurant on Fairfax Blvd.

    Art's Deli in Sherman Oaks

    Jerry's Famous Deli, Studio City

    (Spanish Cuisine) Consider:

Restaurant Spain (Authentic Spanish Cuisine, excellent paella and tapas and Spanish tortilla [not to be confused with mexican corn or flour tortillas in Mex. restaurants).....the restaurant is nothing fancy, however excellent food with high recommendations)

La Serenata de Garibaldi (Boyle Hgts; West Side Pavillion & Santa Monica)  (Not spanish, but really trendy Mexican cuisine...unlike the typical Mexican restaurants) Excellent food with high recomendations!

    (French Cuisine) Consider:

Michel Richard Bakery & Cafe on Robertson in L.A., near Beverly HIlls (EXCELLENT bakery and cafe.  Food is consistently very good & he's a very well known chef)

La Petit Chateau in No. Hollywood

La Parisienne French Restaurant (French) in Monrovia

(near Pasadena & Arcadia)...been there for years and consistently very good)

Hope this helps!....(there are many, but these are just a few that I recall off the top of my head)

  2. Yes, yes, and yes.  Google them.  There are restaurants all over the place.  All kinds, all ethnicities.

  3. The ivy if you want 2 spend alot of money

    Acapulco

    Los toritos

  4. For French -  Pescadore (i think i spelled that right) fantastic food reasonably priced and it is in Newport!

EL Ranchero is same great food great prices lots of locals in Newport

  5. You Have To Go To "Canter's Deli" on Fairfax in Los Angeles! The best food in the business of Kosher, let me tell you! You have Never seen a Pastrami sandwich like these, boy! For "Spanish", or Mexican food- "El Tepeyac" in East Los Angeles,  on "Evergreen Street", Boyle Heights" area. The biggest burrito you ever saw is called the "Manuel" Special. If you can actually eat this monstrous two pounder, they give you a T-shirt!
