I need help finding the name and author of a poem written long ago.?

This poem was written before 1940 and is about a women and her two daughters. Each day they say"I love you best". One daughter goes out to play instead of doing her chores. The other daughter does her chores, etc. The end of the poem says "Who do you think loves their mother best?"

My guess is that is not the old version exact words. If it was then just typing that in to google with 1940 and you would get the poem. Try to remember if it was translated from a certain language. If so then go to google translate, and translate it into the original language. Then copy and paste that into google search
