  1. Go to a department store and ask one of the make up counter assistants to match you up!

Its free to do this, you can ask for samples to take home and try before you make your mind up.

Itll give them something to do and it also carries the promise of a future sale..maybe!

I would definatly recommend using a branded foundation (lancome, estee lauder) They make the skin appear smoother and you can definatly tell the difference compared to a high street brand.

  2. trublend is amazing!! find one closes to your shade and then it will blend to your natural color!! you cant tell you have makeup on and it wont give you zits!!  it really works thats the only kind i will use now!!

  3. Try Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup. It works wonders, trust me! I have acne scarring and other random blemishes all over my face, and when I apply Estee Lauder DOUBLE WEAR MAKEUP ... I feel incredible! It's a foundation that gives a good coverage, is oil-free (so it doesn't make me seem more oily throughout the day), my exact shade (double wear comes in numerous of shades, so you are bound to find your exact shade), and this makeup is also light weight (so you don't feel like a cake face). Try this out, it works and you need very little!

  4. I have battled my skin for over 10 years.  I have found that the best thing for me to do is use proactiv and not use foundation at all.  I've been using loose powder for years and now have switched to that mineral powder... I think the one I bought is Maybelline...

Foundation only aggrivates my skin and makes it worse... the new mineral powders give decent coverage while letting your skin still breathe....

I figure it isn't like people can't still see my the pimple I have under the cake of foundation so why torture my skin?

I know it might sound horrible but going as makeup free as possible for a month might actually help improve your skin....

  5. Revlon for sure. Its all I use these days. I have to be careful with foundation brands because of my dry skin, but Revlon is always been reliable.

For blemishes that really cant be covered, try a concealer.

Also, as someone else has said, try a mousse foundation.

  6. Try a mousse.

But make sure not to put on too thickly. Also don't just put it all on your face, put some from your chin to a bit down your neck too!

    Hope that helps :)

  7. i love the mineral make up. smokymountainminerals is pure & has no irritatants that can make your blemishes worse. Avon is pretty good too,but has a small amount of bismuth, those on tv are full of it. watch out for that &for mineral oil in any liquids or creams.

  8. Sylike, I don't think foundation is necessarily the answer to your delima.  Skin care is. I like aularale.com/7002 for both.

  9. well, i can never tell you what is the perfect color that may suits you! even if i try, because it is just hard to say what is the suitable color when it comes to foundation.

that is why i suggest that you go to the mall, go to MAC and ask for help.

they will put on different colors until they find the right color for your skin.

    when they choose the one.

dont buy right a way. you can ask them to put it on you face, then go on do your shopping and then go back home( i mean give it some time), if it suits you and the color does not change or looks ... you can go on the next day and buy it.
