I need help finding the right Laptop!?

Question

I want a laptop that has costs less than $1,000(preferably less than $800) and that has the following.

More than 2.0 GHz

Good graphics card that I can play the Sims 2(plus 5 expansion packs).

3Gb or more Ram

160 or more Hard Drive Memory

I also prefer AMD over intel although if Intel has a better graphics card then I would get Intel.

Has to be fast and I want it to play games and to browse the Internet(I won't use it on the go that much)

Has to have about 2.5 hours of battery life and.

I checked everywhere but I just can't decide on anything. Could you guys help me and THANXXXXXXXXXXX!!!!!!!!

Intel Processors are better than the AMD processors (although you might be able to get the AMD processors cheaper).  Also the Intel X3100 (and especially the GMA 4500 and 4700) are often better than the nVidia and aTi integrated chips that go in cheap AMD processor laptops (which is something you have to watch for if you're buying something with an AMD processor).

Well, I can't help you too much, but I will warn you about the Dell's, especially the Inspiron b/c I have one. They feature a swivel type joint that allows the opening and closing of the laptop. This area often splits open after opened a few times b/c the only thing holding the monitor together is one tiny s***w which often separates from its socket and then the corner plastic of the monitor next to the swivel breaks and you monitor begins to split open.
