  1. *Instead of Duck, Duck, Goose, play Pass, Pass, Touchdown

*Instead of Musical Chairs, play Musical Bases

*Instead of Pin the Tail on the Donkey, play Pin the Cleat on the Soccer Player (draw it on a poster board)

*Have a relay race where they divide into two teams and race to see who can put on a complete football uniform first or who can get all the balls (football, soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey puck, etc) into a bucket first and they have to move it the way it's moved in the game.

  2. OK well if you have items around the house already like balls-you can play pass the ball to music and then randomly stop the music who ever is holding the ball is out. You can play tag outside-kids love it-its free! You could go to wall-mart get  a bunch of cheap balls in different colors and see who can throw it farthest by using a string or masking tape as a line they stand at to throw the balls-each kid gets his/her own. Or a variation of that place a hula hoop on the ground or hold it up and see who can get there ball into or through the hoop. Hope that helps some!

  3. Good grief - he is 2, it won't be a disaster as long as there are balloons and a cake. If he has kid CD's turn those on and let them dance, (or borrow some from the library). Have lots of balloons - they will want to bat them around. Buy some cheap nerf balls at Walmart (they're like 2 bucks) for them to toss around outside. Get a big bubble wand and bottles of bubbles the adults can blow for them to chase. 2 year olds aren't going to follow directions for real games anyway.

  4. he is going to be 2 so i say nothing to complicated you can play musical chairs and if you have small chairs for the small kids and slow music that would be best! maybe even the hard boiled egg in a spoon thing from one side of the room to the other would be good just make sure its a bigger spoon for the smaller children!

you can also decorate some cookies or cupcake's! coloring is nice for smaller kids too! and even tho he is little pin the tale on donkey can work! just remember simple and short games that  attracts his attention! you can even practice with him before hand so that he will have an advance on the other small kids after all it is his bday!:)
