I need help for my anniversary.?

so i'm taking my boyfriend to a baseball game for our 9 month anniversary. does anyone know a cute quote or poem about sports and anniversary that he can read but that won't automatically lead him on to knowing that he's going to a game (it's a surprise). please help.

I recently surprised my boyfriend to a 4 day vacation. We got in the car (he thought we were going to see a historical site that I told him was free only if we got there early. lol).  So we left and in the car I handed him a binder.  I wrote

"I am sorry I lied.  We are not going where I said we are.  Before I tell you, please don't forget that I love you and you can't get mad because you love me too...congratulations you are being taken on an all expense paid 4 day trip to Quebec City and Ottawa. Everything is packed and in the trunk.  Snacks are behind you, sit back and relax" But until the point where I said where we are going I wrote only 3 or 4 words per page which really confused him. It was fun. he loved it. And the rest of the binder had our itinerary in it for the trip.

The point of this story is, tell him you want to take him for dinner or something and then on the way surprise him with something like that.

OR can you get him there blindfolded? I did that for our anniversary. I took him to the keg (he had been dying to go) and I blindfolded him and drove in circles for a bit so he couldn't figure out where we were driving.  I parked in a spot so when I pulled the blind fold off he could see the Keg sign.  Try that maybe.
