I need help for my kitty !!?

Question

I have a kitty she is two month old and 1.04 lb... I found her and I decided to keep her. The problem is that when I visited the Vet. the Vet. told me that she is very SICK kitty. She has worms in her stomach which made her stomach bigger plus she is SO tiny and sleeps all the day which made me very sad because i Love her SO much I can't even believe my self that I have one and I really want to help her to get healthier.

The Hospital did lots of test on her which are fecal analysis, deworming, and clavamox all of these tests . They also gave me kind of food which will make her eat better and she has antibiotic and more vitamins that she have to take them twice a day. I really need any Cat Owner who is an expert in cat disease to tell me what should i do with her? also the Vet. said that she might not recover at all and they are doing the best with her ?? Hope that I will find my answer from you guys... Thanks for reading and giving me your time :)

Oh my gosh!

I feel so very sorry for you and your poor little kitty.

All you can do is love her, keep doing what the vet. says and hope for the best.

I admire you for saving her because if she was not with anybody then she wouldn't be able to be here because you wouldn't be helping her and giving her special food and stuff.

Aww. i want to cry just thinking about it. =[. I have four cats right now and love them to death. What you can do right now is love your cat as much as you can and do EXACTLy what the doctor tells you to do. You can't become an expert on cat diseases you can just do what the doctor tells you to do. I hope your kitty gets better. =[.

Hopefully the dewormer will take care of all the worms and she will be feeling better soon. Did he mention anything about FELV or FIV? Worms can make a kitten sick, but is there something else going on? If she starts eating and drinking good, she should recover. If you are still concerned call the vet to get more information about what is going on.

Worms can do a lot of damage if not treated, so it is good she is getting medical treatment. A lot of kittens get that and with treatment they recover just fine. I think vets will typically explain the worst outcome so that you are prepared, but they really don't know for sure. Do what your  vets says - it sounds like it working. It may take a month for the kitty to start recovering. Don't worry too much about the sleeping. Many cats will sleep about 18 hours of the day and they are perfectly healthy. Good luck.

she sleeps alot due to the infection that she has, thats fine, let her body rest. Shes sick so, when you got the flu do you go out and go to the pool or shopping? lol, no, you stay in bed and sleep. So thats fine, let her sleep. Make sure since your paying your vet to call them with any questions, thats what they are there for. Follow their advice...the fact that you are taking care of a sick kitty itself and spending money on one says alot about who you are what your trying to do, your good efforts will pay off...keep all of us., I have a cat myself so I know how attached you can get...Keep us updated on the condition.
