hey, I'm a 13 year old girl and I run the 400m, 800m and 1500m in track. Last year when I was 12 I ran the 400 in 1:04, the 800 in 2:34 and the 1500 in 5:14. This year I started training really early in the eason but got tonsillitis exactly two weeks before my first track meet. I didn't run for whole week while i had tonsillitis. On May 4 I started training again. I went to the track everyday and did hard workouts to try to get into the best shape possible for my track meet (which happened this weekend). I added time on all of my events and felt weak the whole track meet. I rested on sunday and today i did some 100m sprints. My legs were constantly cramping up and I could barley run 100m. What's wrong with me? Is my body still recovering from my illness?
