I need to "get even" with someone who seriously did a lot of damage to my website. It was very very successful and now it's been shattered by this woman! She's now creating her own website with the same look and information it launches this weekend... any ideas to show her how it feels!

  1. Don't stoop to her level.  Bring yours back even better than before.  Increase your security too, to avoid other hacking in the future.

  2. Your information is confusing.

You said this woman's website "launches this weekend." How can a yet to be launched site destroy your site? Was she previously involved with your website? What was her involvement? If she was, did you have her sign a non compete clause or anything?

It's hard to give good guidance to you when you did not specify what that "lot of damage" mean?

If she copied your content, file a DMCA complaint (Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmc... )with her web host - check the web host for the right way to file a DMCA complaint. Oftentimes it is through their abuse email

Then file a DMCA complaint with Google http://www.google.com/dmca.html and the other search engines. They will remove her site from the search engines

But if this person is not copying the exact content of your website, why not let it go and simply focus on improving your site? The best revenge is to see your site become #1 in the search engines while hers languish at #1000

  3. Y WOULD U GO LOW AS HER  JUST BLOCK HER FROM UR PAGE AND JUST START ANOTHER 1.
