I need help getting a apartment in Seattle?

I'm getting ready to relocate to Seattle, WA. I am looking for a apartment and/or willing to share a house with a person can anyone give me some advise about the apartments near the downtown area?

  1. Housing downtown is expensive.  I don't know what you're looking to spend on rent, but all the apartment buildings downtown are relatively new and trendy, which equals expensive.  Queen Anne is close to downtown, but it too is pretty pricey.  If I were you, I would check out craigslist.org.  People post ads for roommates, etc.  A lot of people find affordable housing that way.  If you are willing to be farther from downtown, I would consider looking for housing in Capitol Hill, Fremont, Ballard or Magnolia.  They would be a little cheaper.  Good luck!
