I need help getting alot of money for my high school band!?

I go to a VERY small school and our concert band is lacking in funds. I was appointed drum major so im in charge of funds and we need like $ 25,000 dollars by the end of March to compete in Anaheim Ca. Because the town its self is poor and the school is even poorer i dont know where to look for money. we are doing all we can but so far all we were able to make was about $200.00 so i need help! if any one knows what i can do i would apriciate it! thank you! ~ *

ads, my dear get ur dresses printed and a brand sponsor get some good one for daily needs make a proposal consult ur principal and approach the marketing officer. may b 82% -120% of ur needs will b filled by that but be rather choosy not to make negative impct and be prepared to b turned down mre than 5 times before getting the match involve, them show them ur hard work enthusiasm maturity and understanding event overestimate a bit and tell themabout prosp audience

invite them to practice and concert off course. u may also sell candies and charge owner but 200$ is no big deal for a town or school however poor inflate go smooth prep ur needs 4 500, 450 at least music stores or even computer or even family shops, or soft drink brand or health drink brand. be confident be quick. and practice with great attention and enthusiasm for music it matters hav regular group practice get a good trainer(u can get him sponsored with his help), and best of luck................. u can place bets tho ur friends on u and win that but remember it's a dirty option.....

Been there, done that.  Former marching band member myself (we played in the Rose Bowl in '98).  You should check into fund raising ideas like selling cookie dough, ad book spots (this one was a huge success for us), pizzas, candy....there are lots of ways to go, even if you live in a small town.  Good luck with raising the money!
