I need help getting custom frimware for my psp

Question

i watched these two videos, and i folled all there steps, until i got to the part when i put the pandora battery in, cause when i put it in, then i turned it back on, the screen turnd black, and nothing happend, and also when i did the 2 parts when i type in y then enter, right when that window came up, it closed, for both of them, can some1 please help me with this asap, thank you.

okay if its a psp slim it will not show the pandora menu but it will still be there so just press x when the two lights stop flashing (the green wlan light and orange memory stick light) and when the psp is done downgrading all of the lights will be off then just take out your pandora battery and put in your good one you should be done!  

if you have a psp phat the menu should appear and if it doesnt it was probobaly a instalation error so use this program but it only works in windows vista,xp and below
