I need help getting into an apartment and paying for it?

I hurt my back in february of 2007 and I am unable to work because of this injury. I have applied for SSD and SSI and have hired Binder & Binder as my lawyer. But my case wont go in front of a judge until around july of next year. I have moved in with a friend temporarily and applied for welfare. Welfare will give me 160/month food stamps but only $326 per month to cover rent, utilities, gas for my car, car insurance etc. I cant live where I am at for very long as they only took me in because i had no where to go. Ive looked in my area for a place to stay but as I cannot work and am only going to get $326 to get a place, there is no where i can go. Medicade has already classified me as being disabled and welfare has exempted me from the work force because im disabled. So I am hoping that someone out there can loan me money till my case goes through I will agree to sign any papers needed and furnish medical records to prove I am telling the truth please help me I am desperate !!!

look into transportation services since you have a condition.

look on craigslist.org for people renting out rooms.

i would find a job answering phones or maybe at an office scheduling things.

i hope those ideas help a little..

u may try a rooming house ask ur dss worker to find u a place to live they have to help u find a place to live

I am not sure what state you are in but here my brother had a lawyer that knew his case was good to go so he gave my brother a monthly check. He wasn't with the firm you mentioned. As a matter of a fact I hired a large firm once and got screwed. Make sure you trust them.Also there must be people in your same position and maybe some how you could place an add for a roomate but screen them well. If their position is the same as yours it could work for both of you.Good Luck.Hope this helps.
