Question:

I need help getting to sleep!?

It takes me like more than a half an hour to get to sleep, and it's really making me tired in the morning. If anyone knows anything that will make me fall asleep faster, plzz, pretty plzz HELP! And no, counting sheep doesn't count lolz.

  1. I have trouble getting to sleep at night also, a few things that work for me are. exercise, I will exhaust my muscles and then go to bed I sleep very soundly after this. also I sometimes take generic tylonol pm but I have to realy plan on this and take it 1-2 hours before needing to be in bed or I will still feel the effects in the morning hours the next day. warm milk and turkey both have something in them that makes people sleepy also.  


  2. I've heard these tips over the years:

    Eliminate caffeine, spicy food, exercise and/or nicotine 2 hours before bedtime.

    Go to bed at the same time every night, including weekends and vacation.

    Do not use your bed for activities other than sleeping and intimate activity.  No television or reading.

    Have a routine and wind down to signal your body that it is bedtime.  Bathing, etc.

  3. Sounds old fashioned...but a warm glass or cup of milk, works every time, and no eating up to 2 hours before!    

  4. man the same thing happens with me . . .lol

    what u should do is that wake up early in the morning and do work .. .by the time u go to sleep u will get tired and exhausted so ull go to sleep.

    take cough syrup an hour be4 u wanna sleep . .. i am saying this cuz sleeping pills are not really good for health and cough syrup do make u sleepy....

  5. Go to the health food shop and buy a herbal tea called 'Valerian' or 'Valerian root'.

    Valerian is where the word Valium comes from but Valerian is 100 % safe, non-addictive and has been used for thousands of years.

    I use it and it really works.
