I need help hiding something!!?

Question

So, I bought a hilarious, but innappropriate gag gift (a book). I need ideas of places to hide it so my parents don't find it and ask questions. I could explain it if I needed to, but it would be easier not to. I'm leaving in a month, so I only need something short term that won't get me caught when I move out, cause I'm sure my mom will help me pack and unpack. Any ideas?

put a book cover over it and stack it with your other books .

it is a gift... wrap it... then your mom will never know.. and your gift will be good to go and ready for your friend.

put it in a box and seal it---write your name and new address on it--put proper postage on it---have a friend put it in mail the day after you leave or mail it yourself the day before you leave--use clear tape to seal all creases--sometimes that is required

put it in the floor register,or hide it in your dad's closet.that's where we hid our bb guns as kids.he never went in there

I used to hide books a lot- for instance, under my pillow when I made my bed.

Or you could put a brown paper cover on it and stick it in a book bag, or in a suitcase under a bunch of shirts.

under the carpet in your closet, u can put it in a plastic bag and tape it under furniture, or under a box

Have your friend hold it for you till you need it back.

Wrap it up in paper and say it is a present for a friend's birthday.

Easy - Gift wrap it with a tag of the recipients name on it. Then you can just leave it out in the open and tell mom "It's  a book I bought for Joe"

This way your not hiding or lying. Leaving the item gift wrapped and in plain sight is best way to handle this situation.
