I bought the low level converter and everything. The car is a 1999 cadillac deville. first i connected the wires from the converter to my 6x9s and then i took the ground wire and grounded it. then i ran the rca cables from the converter to the amp. then i ran the power cable to the battery. and then back to the amp then i ran a ground wire to the amp. then i took the remote wire and hooked it to a fuse in the fuse box and then back to the amp then i connected speaker wire to the subs and then to the amp. The power indicator light on the amp keeps blinking off and on. I dont know what went wrong someone help me! i can talk on im if its easier for you!

  1. does that car have a external amp to power the inside speakers? that could be your problem

  2. Check the ground going to the amp make sure it is a good bare and tight ground.

  3. Yeah, sounds like you did everything right.  Usually that type of pulsing is a bad ground.  Recheck the ground connection and make sure that where it connects to the car is clean of any paint.  Scrape it to bare metal for a good connection or try another solid spot to use.
