I need help! how many psi of compression is in a brand new motor of a sc2 back in 93 when it was made?

i compression tested my 1993 saturn sc2 and it rang as 190-200 psi in each cylinder(4). i was wondering how many psi it has brand new?

Lord, that's great!  What did you do, squirt oil down the cylinders?

I can't see it having more than 10 pounds over that brand new.  You're in the ball park now.

Don't know, but I've have said 200 - 210.

Actual psi is less significant than that they are consistent. The difference in compression from one cylinder to another indicates wear. With only 10 psi difference, your in good shape.
