  1. There could be a couple of things going on here.  It could be an arrythmia, something like atrial fibrillation, in which case you would need medical attention.   It could also be that the energy drink gave you a slightly raised heart rate (which they do) coupled with the scary movie giving you a raised heart rate (which that will do as well) and the fast heart rate caused a panic attack.   Panic attacks often start a chain reaction that goes something like this: initial panic attack-heightened level of general anxiety-more panic attacks-increased general anxiety, and on it goes.

I'd say it's likely that it's anxiety BUT you need to rule out physical causes first.   However, I will reassure you some and say that if it were a deadly dangerous arrythymia you would've passed out before you even realised that your heart was going super fast so it's not likely going to kill you.

  2. Try breathing slowly.  Take a breath in for a few seconds, then breath out for a few seconds.  You could be having a panic attack.  Or it could be worse.  If this continues go to the emergencey room or a walk in clinic or call a doctor.

Your thin frame means you might have high metabolism, which could mean you are a high energy person..  The energy drink gives you even more energy than you usually have and your nerves get shaken and you go haywire.  This might not be the case.  In any case, you need to go to the doctor in order to nail down the problem.  Even if you get over this episode tonight.

  3. Your showing all the symptoms of a panic/anxiety attack.

    Caffeine being the catalyst.

I should know I suffer from the same thing.

Stay away from caffeine totally or you'll keep getting them.

Once they start you'll always have these episodes.

I have to take medication because mine got out of control.

If it happens again( even without caffeine) see a doctor and explain it to him the exact way your explaining it here.

Also mention that you suffer from anxiety ( it looks like you do).

    Good Luck.

( btw it isn't the worst thing in the world and1 out of 6 people have it and it's easily controllable).

  4. too much caffiene will do that to your heart, like with too much coffee. you should go to doc. if it keeps up

  5. Stop drinking the energy drink. Maybe you should try taking therapy classes.
