  1. well to start with both phones have to have all parts in them.if not you can not make them work. if the one that has all the parts inside & has a line cord, that has 2 or3 wires coming out the end you can take two of them and try to hook them up to a regular phone jack. you will hook them up to either the red & green or white/blue &blue/white wires. if the line cord has only 2 wires, that should work.if it has 3 wires you will have to try all the wires in  pair combos to get a dail tone.that may have the voltage to let you talk on the phone like an extension.but you will not be able to make calls from that phone.

if you get a second phone with all the parts in it post a new question for me to tell you how to make them work like an intercom. but you will need to make sure they have the bells in them.

  2. hmm well i'm not sure it is possible because of the way you dialed phones back then versus now it was a different system and i'm not sure if it is compatible

  3. I cant answer your question so to speak (pun intended) without getting all the wires jumbled up.(I gotta stop now)

if you could find a makers mark or some more info you might get more info. FOR NOW DO NOT TRY CONNECTING ANY POWER TO THE PHONES, YOU COULD BURN YOUR PHONES' DELICATE PARTS UP.---IC

  4. Phones from the 1900s should not be using a power supply(AD/DC adaptor). The current to make the phone work is coming for the telephone line. You can try to connect to the wall jack(if the jack RJ11 match your antique line cord jack) just like you connect a new corded phone set and listen if you can get a dial tone.

However, nowadays, telcos use TONE to dial while your 1900s phone is PULSE but may still work though.

  5. you can't. however someone on e-bay will buy it.
