I need help. i have a tooth tht hasnt come down and its been a year in a half plz help me!!!

a year and a half ago i had to get a baby tooth pulled so i could get my braces on. the thing is that my tooth hasnt come down and at some time the people were considering surgery and i wont have the surgery. i was wondering if there is some kind of like trick or remadie to help the tooth come down or anything cause soon as the tooth is down and in place i get my braces off and i sooo want them off! plz help me thanks a ton =]
