  1. just try somethign new, join soccer.

  2. My high school didn't have an xc team, so I had to "make do" with being on the field hockey team even though that is not where I wanted to be. And I coupled my afterschool practice in that sport with my own routine of running before school in the morning. It worked for me. My point is, you have it in yourself to make whatever option you choose work for you. I wonder if you could call or email the soccer coach and explain your situation to him, perhaps he could make arrangements for you to practice with the team? Maybe there is a running club in your area that you could join? Good luck whatever you do, but with practice and effort you will surely succeed...and I hope you work towards joining an xc team at the college level one day.

  3. Just bear with it man its only 3 more years, your not supposed to like your coach anyway as long as you know he is helping you to get where you want to. This is my last year of xc, most of the time I do my workouts by myself, because of the lack of a team but you just gotta stay focused. If you love running as much as you say you should be fine, just hold on till you get to college and can pursue your dream of becoming an amazing runner/

  4. You don't run for the coach, you run for yourself. If you don't want to do it anymore just talk to the soccer coach. Tell him that you were busy with running camp but want to try out for the team. He might help you out. If anything, take a year of from sports and chill out.
