  1. Do you use Teflon / non-stick cookware in your home? Non-stick cookware and appliances when heated release a substance known as PTFE, which is toxic to birds, and usually causes their death (slowly or fast). PTFE poisoning has been known as the silent avian killer since it goes unnoticed by humans and even CO detectors but is deadly to birds. However, if diagnosed early, and your bird is taken to an avian vet in time, then there is hope. So don't waste time and hurry, take your Cutie to an avian vet as soon as possible! Visit http://www.aav.org to locate the nearest avain vet.

  2. I have the same problem my mother does the same.

I called up my uncle who is an Avian vet and he diagnosed him with a respiratory infection.

Anti biotics for about 4 months and he wasback on his feet

  3. 24hr emergency service of animals

i had like a vet people cums to me and examine

    they come to my house

  4. I would just give a local emergency vet a call and explain the situation. It's important to get an AVIAN vet's opinion on whether or not something requires vet attention.  (check google maps.com for the phone number to one near you) If your dad doesn't even want to freakin CALL the ER vet then you can throw the quote " so you could care less if my bird dies?!" in his face.

  5. Tell your dad that failure to provide an animal with veterinary treatment is animal cruelty.
