I need help importing with the Sony Z1U!!!?

So, I have been given this project to edit, and I am trying to import the footage through Final Cut using the Sony Z1U. This is the same camera that the footage was shot on. I am using Final Cut 6, and this version of Final Cut is supposed to know the settings automatically to capture footage, but I have no idea what is the issue. It was shot 1080i, and 24p. Do I need to change settings on the camera? I have changed all the settings in Final Cut, none of them work. I really need some kind of help with this, otherwise I have to turn down this project. The Z1U does not shoot in 24p.  So unless this was shot on an HVX200 or better, then those settings are wrong.  Here are the setting that I use to capture into FCP 6 using the z1U:

Sequence preset: Apple Intermediate 1080i60

Capture Preset: HDV

Device Control Preset:  Sony HDV Firewire

Sony and FCP are known to have issues with each other, but these settings work for me.  Good luck.
