Hi everyone. Im new to this country and I have a little bit problem in our english class.

------------------------------

the question is : In the absence of elaborate stage directions, Shakesperean plays rely heavily on dialogue to inform the readers (and actors) of the actions occuring on the stage.

explain how the dialogue in Macbeth propels the actions of the drama. Use specific examples from the play to support your ideas.

  1. Look at Macbeth's big speeches, especially one of his most famous (Act II) . It gives Macbeth specific direction in how he should hold his dagger. Look at scene 2 in that same act and in reference to that same dagger. The words concerning it often dictate the action of the actors. Likewise all the knocking references at the end of that scene and the beginning of 3.

  2. You are not new to this country, as anyone who looks at your previous questions and answers can tell (not to mention your multiple posts of this one).

Read the play and do your own summer school homework.

Oh, yeah, and God bless you, too.
