  1. It's called Texas Hold'em.

The blinds are decided by the game.  It's like asking, how much do cars cost?  Well, they are all different.

But, for example, if you go to a casino and play in a cash game, the game is defined by the size of the blinds.  For example a $1/$2 no limit game.  Or a $10/$20 limit game.

In tournament play the blind structure varies, but typically the blinds raise up on a regular basis, forcing action, and ensuring that the game doesn't last too long.

As for the colors of the chips, there are some rough standards, but they are not set in stone.  It depends on the casino as to what color is worth what.  You can't always assume that green chips are always worth $25, because quite often they are not.

But pretty much any casino is going to print the dollar value on the chip, so you can know just by looking at it.

  2. well dude all those things depend on different situations. The chips matter by what you want them to be worth and the blinds matter by how many people are playing

  3. Depends wheather you want a fast game of a long game

  4. In a home game you can make up your own denominations.

You can make it a 3-6 game which is pretty popular, The blinds would be 1 dollar chip and 3 one dollar chips. The chips can then be red being 1 dollar, green being 2 dollars and white being 5 dollars. The initial bet would be three dollars to call, six to raise.  capping at 12 dollars .On the turn (fourth card dealt) the betting goes up to six for initial bet, twelve to raise and up to 24 to cap. same for the river card.

You could do a 1-2 game, blinds being 1 and 2 dollars and the initial bet being two and being raised up in two dollar increments. the fourth card it would go to 4 initial and so on.

    Good LUCK!
