  1. d. change of state

The temperature of ice (let us say) laying on the sun in a hot day, increases with time. But it remains constant when the ice beggings to melt. After all the ice became water, the temperature starts to rise again.

  2. it's D !!!

cuz when changing state, temperature and pressure is constant !

    :D

  3. The only one that stays at the same temperature while heat is being added is the substance undergoing a change of state.  As an ice cube melts, it is absorbing energy, but its temperature remains at 0 degrees C.  But, you cannot really talk about the pressure of a solid like ice so that part doesn't really make sense.  Regardless, the temperature or a solid, liquid, and a gas change when you add energy, so "d" is definitely the answer.
