I live in California and am 14 years old. I wanted to build my own go kart out of a mattress but now I am reconsidering.

Since they arent sidewalk legal, I wanted something that was. So I was thinking a mini bike but theyre not tall enough for me.

Then I thought a mini chopper but I haven't found any good kits.

So basically what would be best for me?

I don't care about the street, but I want something to drive on the sidewalk for transportation.

I want it to be say 5 feet tall.

Goes at least 20 mph.

I don't want that old harley look just like a bare skeleton with a motor.

Reliable, and fun.

Thank you.

  1. Get a bicycle.

  2. You want to build a go-kart, or mini-bike, that's 5 feet tall, out of a mattress?

  3. I may be wrong, but I would have thought that anything with an engine would not be "sidewalk legal".

After all. The pavement is for walking, not for driving.

Where I live (UK) it is illegal to ride even a push bike on the pavement (although this is not enforced).

  4. well you do have these two things called legs that are free and i'm assuming reliable.

  5. Motorcycles (even small ones) aren't sidewalk legal.

  6. 6v power wheels, look in the toy section at walmart

bout anything else aint sidewalk legal

  7. Just plug 'mini bike kits' into a search engine.  There has got to be lots.
