  1. Just so you know you don't need a high school diploma or GED to go to a community college. once you get 30(?)college credits you can transfer to any college you like. It might be easier to just do that.

  3. You do have to have a GED or diploma to go to community college where I live. The best thing you can do is try signing up for some GED classes at the college. They help you get your GED so you can start college. That is what I chose to do. I took the classes and at the end they had us talk to the lady who would enrool us after we passed our tests so we could be better prepared. There is also another test that  i had to take. The second test was to let them know where I was and if I needed remedial classes in the basic subjects. I think if you wanted to go for continuing education you didn't have to do those things but if you wanted a degree you had to take the tests. Tests make people nervous but I think you should go take the test before you do anything! It had been 4 years out of school when I took mine, I was scared. The thing is if you pass one part of your test then you don't have to retake that part and you will know where you stand and what you need to learn. You'll know the type of questions to expect and so on. I hope you do well. Good luck.
