I need help in miss popularity, how do i get sports clothes?

Im at the part where i need to buy an elegant outfit and i need some sports clothes, i have the money but they clothes arent available to me, why??? If anybodu could help id really appreciate it.. Thanx

Before you buy clothes, you have to upgrade your look with accessories. Make sure you're wearing the elegant shoes, hat and lip gloss. Then go back to the field until the sports guy tells you about the Fit for Fun meeting. Try and get into the meeting in your old clothes before going and buying the new clothes.

If you're further than this, you may want to try looking outside the auditorium for the sports guy and talking to him. I don't think it was at this stage, but I remember at one point in the game I had to go back and talk to him outside the auditorium before new clothing options opened up.
