1. Yellow light emitted from glowing sodium vapor has a frequency of about 5.00x10^14 sec-1. calculate the wavelength of this light in m, nm, and A.

  2. my god, just look up Beer-Lamberts law and figure it out for yourself.  

  3. You are given the frequency, all you need to do is to solve it using the equation E=hc/lamdba where c/lamdba is the frequency. Or, as learned in my intro physics, lamdba = c/ f

    c/ lamda  = f = 5e14/s

    h = 6.626e-34 Js

    c= 3e8 m/s

    3e8 m/s / 5e14/s. Seconds cancel and you have your answer
