I need help installing my linksys router on my new mac laptop (first time mac user!) ?

as far as like physically playing around the with the router. idk. but as far  using it from your laptop when oyu look on the screen in the far right corner youll see what looks like a chinese fan shaped few lines and theyll be light so click on that and than it will give you a few network options and click the one that says linksys and it should connect. hope this helppss

Did you not get an install CD with the router? I got one with mine, and I'm kind of slow-witted (well, not just kind-of). All I did was, insert the CD and follow instructions and, within about 15 minutes of gentle do-this-do-thats, I gotter done!

It was just, "Ok, pard, now, make sure the power's off and nothing's plugged in at all, at all, to the router. Click here once that's true. (Click.) Plug in the power, okay? (Click.) Plug in the phone line to the router, okay? (Click.) Allright, now just wait! Done. Whadya want to call it...[and like that]...and Welcome to the world of Linksys and would you like to "Register?" We're sure you would...etc.

if the little chinese fan thing in the top right corner of your screen doesnt work click on safari and if the internet is still not up click on ''network diagnostics'' and click on all that applies.
