Dream:

I'm in the lobby of a huge hotel. I get on the elevator. An old lady gets in with me. I push a button but it won't let me push the floor I want, and the elevator just starts going up. It goes 2 floor 128 (which is high, right?) I start to panic say, i can't go this high I'm afraid of heights so as i start to hit the buttons it goes down but stops on floor 78. I look at the lady and she's just calm. I say maybe there is a stairwell. So i step out and look down a hall. The elevator doors shut and when i look back at it, the wall closes up and its gone.

So I start walking down the hall to where the service elevators should be but they r not there. I look for the stairwell but when I go through these double doors, there r no stairs just an open area with 2 janitors standing one gives me his walkietalkie. I go into this room which turns into a house with a lady cooking 4 her daughter. My daughter is with me but older and she starts crying & sayin were dead. the lady cookin

  1. generally speaking, the elevator not taking you where you want to go is a part of you feeling your life is not in your control.  The incomplete stairwell could mean you feel stuck. The part of thinking or being told you were dead, and the murderer thing, is most likely a fear of the unknown.  It could all be what you eat before you go to bed too:)

  2. It's hard to interpret someones dreams when you don't know the person and what their lives like.

Without knowing this it sounds like your scared off doing something, that you are capable of doing.

It could be something as simple as making a meal you thinks out of your league or something as big as a new career.

The fear relating to your family being killed, might be for fear of what they'd think. (fear is often over-exaggerated in dreams)

The lift was taking you there, to do what ever it is, your inner you, wants to do!

Usually closing doors, things dissapearing, stairs vanishing, symbolise dreams fading, opportunites closing or feeling stuck. (You being dead in the dream may also symbolise you feeling stuck or the need for a change)

If the dreams recurrent and bothers you, then you might want to go see someone like a tarot card reader.

What i would try to do is stay on that lift and go to the 128th floor!

The answer to your question is probably there.

  3. It is definite that you feel stuck in your life and no matter what you try to do, it is getting you no where. I had similar dreams although mine has more to do with stairs that don't lead anywhere or has rungs missing so I can't go up.. or steps missing and it is a big drop down. And I did feel stuck in my life. I feel less stuck these days. They say Praise changes things. Try thanking God for the situations you are in.
