Okay so I'm finally in high school soccer and my coach really wants us to kick with our left foot when the time calls for it. I have the power with my left foot, just not any accuracy. Any tips?

  1. When you are kicking with your left foot, face your right foot in the direction you want the ball to go. Also try facing your body that way too. (Coaches will tell you that when you are defending, you can always tells which way a person is going by which way there hips are facing.) Mostly, just practice practice practice.

    Good luck!

  2. make sure your plant foot is facing the direction you want the ball to go.. step slightly ahead of the ball, swing from the hip so you get power from your whole leg, not from the knee down.. and make sure to follow through! then just keep practicing! you'll get it promise!

  3. Keep practicing until you get it down.

  4. Take small touches at first then build it up. One of the best ways i practised with my left foot was doing kickups. Its hard at first but gets much easier after a while.
