  1. thats not a walk over..!

a walk over is when you go into a back bend and kick over.

just push your legs over as hard as you can as soon as your hands hit the ground in your back bend.

  2. Oh, that's not a walkover, it's when you do a backbend and stand up. First remember to go slowly down, really use those muscles. If you go really fast you'll go crashing on your head or fall on your back. Remeber control. So first looking, at your hands slowly touch the ground. Than really contract those ab muscles to stand up. Make sure practicing this you do some sit-ups and do a few bridges to stretch out your back and make it more limber. Also, ask a professional gymnast to spot, so she could point out any problems. PRACTICE PRACTICE. I know you can do it!!!

  3. The most important thing is: it needs to be a single fluid motion.

    Front Walkover:

Kick up just as you would in handstand, but go all the way over until you're in a backbend and as soon as you're feet hit the floor pick up you're hands, then, voila! you're standing.

    Back Walkover:

Go into a backbend, but instead of having both feet on the floor, kick one up and when it gets to it's highest point (directly above you) kick up the other one, then, stand up.

  4. If you want to do a front walkover I suggest putting your one foot in the air *light as a feather* Go into your handstand with your feet seperated into a split. Come up on one leg.

Hint: Push it and go fast first!

  5. ok i am (well was) a serious gymnast so i have taught plenty of people and been tought myself

first of all you need a spotter.

ok start with a backbend and get to the point where you can get up without help.

it might take a little while

then your hand stand a walkover you want your legs apart (not like a side split like a front split) and you want to be comming up before your other foot lands

    hope i helped some

    and cranberry barbie

she is talking about a front walkover and your talkin about a back walkover

    *rolls eyes* amatures......
