  1. I believe the MGHA was manufactured to house standard furnace filters. I would stay with the "angel hair" type filters and not thew pleated paper because it is more difficult to get the circulation with the higher difference in pressure across the filter. Contrary to what others have said it is easy to fit a cardboard edged filter in the doors of a MH furnace just slip in on the sides and at the bottom of the top filter and the top of the bottom filter use a short peice of duct tape. (I used to install a clip that fastened with a wingnut)

  2. The filter for a mobile home furnace is located inside the units door . It's usually made from plastic like strands matted together called " hogs hair" .The interesting thing about Intertherm filters is they were usually an option that had to be seperately ordered and most people didn't get them. If you look right inside the furnace on the front and read down through the lable, it should list the part number for the filter kit. The easiest way is to go to home depot and buy the blue filter sheets and make your own. Cut it to fit and that's it.

  3. Its going to be in the return air part. You may have to remove a cover plate

  4. Another possible place for it to be in a mobile home is right above the furnace as my experience with mh is that some of the htrs are placed below another opening behind the door and the filter is across the opening .
