I need help losing serious weight?

I'm a 14 year old female, and feel pretty uncomfortable with my body image. Also, I checked what my BMI and weight would be considered- turns out, I'm 20 pounds overweight. I am very insecure about this, as it turns out it strongly raises my risk of type 2 diabetes, and I want to lose those 20 pounds, FAST. I need help. I don't like running, and I'm beyond bad at overcoming cravings, which are usually carbs. Theres an eliptical machine in my house, I use it sometimes, but it never seems to make very much of a difference. I am at a lose as to what to do to get rid of that weight.

Also, how long would it take for me to lose a pound doing a particular activity?

And, whats the deal with water weight? Is water good or bad for losing weight?

  3. A lot of your weight is water, sometimes when your skin feels bloated its because your body has special gland to store extra water. Drink about 3 water bottles throughout the day to be fully hydrated. With this water in your system your body will release the extra stored water in the glands. This will make you lose weight but you have to consistently drink water, not soda or juice.

    Also remember that 3,500 unused calories=1 pound.

    Try burning 250 calories through exercise and cut 250 calories from your diet this is 500 calories a day which means you will lose a pound a week, (not including the water weight lost)


  4. their never really is a fast and easy way to lose a lot of weight, because i have tryed MANY different things. and the most weight i lost in one diet was 30 pounds in 2 1/2 months it was akins but it made me very deppressed because i love carbs. i recommed eating many small portions of food a day and try dancing like boybands for 30-40 minutes a day. its working for me so far.
