  1. Check out this site to make flyers with, it's free and easy

    http://www.flyertabs.com

  2. You Should Start Off With What Age The Kids Were! Make Refrences And How Much You Charge! Make Limits (Ex. No Kid Under 1 year. Non Smoking Houses Only etc) And Ask If You Can Put The Names And Phone Numbers Of The Other Familys You've Babysitted For So That People Can Ask Them How Good you Did. Make Sure That You Mention Allergys Or Phobias So That If You Are Allergic To Peanuts And Afraid Of Dogs When You Walk Into The House A Dog Doesn't Come Running And Jumnping At You And They Aren't Eating Peanut Butter. Mention Other Jobs You May Have Had. (Ex. Cleaner For Local Store, Pet Sitter) Good Luck! And Remember, Make Sure They Are Noticable!

  3. There are some good suggestions from several different young babysitters at- http://www.advicenators.com/qview.php?q=...

Plus, here are some marketing tips for teen babysitters- http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art1...

    Good luck!

  4. You should also state that you can work late hours so that the parents know that they can go out late when you are watching there kids. Also state if you are certified in any special programs or teachings to give the parents a little more comfort and confidence if they choice to hire you as there babysitter.

  5. I would note that references are available on request.  At the bottom of the flier, make little perforated tabs that people can pull off that have your name and phone number - that way people don't need to try to remember the number or write it down.  (If you don't know what I am talking about - check bulletin boards for examples because it is quite common).  Make sure to note the age ranges that you will babysit (or all ages if you dont have limitations), note whether it will be in your home or theirs, and figure out the exact number of years of experience to list - 2 or 3 isn't exact enough, you have to give one number, such as 2 1/2 years, not a range.  Good luck.

  6. you will want to make sure it has your years of experience as well as the phrase 'References Available upon request" So people know that you have a list of previous parents that you have sat for that know you are a good babysitter.

have little "tear-offs" with you name and either email or number for them to leave a message.

Beware of creeps calling you, some weirdos out there will get your number and just call to annoy you. So tell your parents if that happens.

    Good luck to you.
