My girlfriend's wisdom teeth got pulled out so I need help with some jello dessert! Is there any kind of food that would go well with that; needs minimum chewing. I thought of adding milk or mangos or cheese. Any good kind of cheese?

All suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks!

  1. add some whipped cream to it,,,, you can have mashed potatoes, pudding, apple sauce, you could add mashed bananas,,,, they could have baby food,,,,  you could do cheese in a can but then  you do not have anything to put it on

had 3 pulled at once and that is what i had,,,, then started creamed soups,,,, then for meal was meatloaf

  2. Here are a couple of recipes to try:

    1 6-oz. pkg orange jellow

2 c. heavy whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks

    1 can mandarin oranges, drained

(also calls for 1/2 c. walnuts, but why not substitute mini marshmellows?)

Make jello and chill until slightly thick.  Fold in whipped cream, oranges & marshmellows....Chill thoroughly

    PEAR SALAD

    1 3-oz. pkg. lime jello

1 16-oz. can pears, drained & reserved juice

    1 8-oz. softened cream cheese

2 c. whipping cream, beaten to stiff peaks

Dissolve jello in 1 c. hot pear juice (add water if not enough juice);  Put cream cheese & pears in blender and whip.  Add partially cooled & slightly thickened jello to pear mixture and blend well.  Fold in whipped cream....chill

    BLUEBERRY SURPRISE

2 (6 oz) pkg. blackberry jello

    2-1/2 c. boiling water

1 large can crushed pineapple, with juice

    1 can blueberry pie filling

    1 8-oz. softened cream cheese

    1/2 c. sugar

    1 8-oz. carton sour cream

    1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 c. chopped pecans (you could substitute mini marshmellows)

Combine jellos and water.  Add pineapple and pie filling and blend well.  Pour into 9x13" pan and chill until firm.  Mix remaining ingredients together and spread on jello.  Chill one or 2 hours longer

  3. My dentist said after the numbness went away I could have dry toast and tea. My kids made me soup anyway. Any of the canned soups is a good choice, also milkshakes are a good choice.

My mother used to make a jello thing, Heat 2 cups apple sauce, stir in package of green or yellow jellow, grate 2 cups cheddar cheese and stit this into it. She usually added some apple cubes and diced celery to it too and sometimes bell pepper. But I am not sure your girlfriend is up to the veggies and fruit yet.

A friend of mine made some tomato Aspic using lemon jello in tomato juice with bell peppers and celery. Heat the tomato juice to boiling and add the jello, then stir in the peppers and celery. Same again! Not sure your girlfriend is up for the veggies. But the Jelled tomato is really good.

It will only be a day or two that she can't eat.
