I need help making money on ebay!?

me and a friend (im 13 and hes 12) are trying to make a bit of money our selves. we're sick of having to ask or borrow money or waiting for allowance and want to make some our selves! we thought that one of our perants could make an ebay account for us and we'd manage it. We both have things to sell but were struggling on what to sell after that?! Anyone got any ideas on some cheap merchenting or something? (we both have a bit of money and are prepared to invest)
