I need help making my own skateboard rack.?

Question

Hi, I need a skateboard rack for my wall so I can show off my board with pride, and save some space in my room. I can only find racks online but the shipping is too expensive and it really isn't worth it. Are there any easy ways to make my own rack whether it be wooden or metal?

if what you want to do is show off just your board, then i would go the simplistic route and simply put a hook in the wall and hang your board from one of the trucks. if you want it to sit diagonal put in two hooks at an angle, or you could even put a hook in the ceiling and hang the board upside down or vertically. but if you want to show off just a deck with no trucks or wheels, then simply place the board where you want it to sit on the wall and use a pencil to mark through the holes where the trucks would normally mount. get a s***w and a washer and drill it through the deck hole and into the wall, remember youre not making a new hole in the deck, just using one thats already there. either method is cheap and easy to find at a home improvment store.

Is a skateboard deck the same thing as a skateboard rack?  I am so stupid.  I don't know much about the skateboarding style.  Sorry.  Somebody will have to inform me about this stuff.
