I bouch a couch and have tried a couple time to get it in but I live in a small apartment and I cant get it in the door. We get it in most of the way but the last arm and corner keeps getting hung on the door frame. We havre tried twisting it and laying it on its side but the back top is too tall and we still get it hung on the door frame. Can anyone tell me if there is a way that I can take the door frame off and get the extra inches that I need. I am sure that I cant take the arm of the couch off without tearing it apart so I think the door frame is the only option. Does anyone know if the opening of the door frame would give the extra inches that I need? Please serious answers only and Thanks

  1. To remove the door frame is a very drastic move. It will give you about 5" extra space, but will be awkward to refit and hang door again.
