my windows don"t have password it"s my bios when i press f2 to enter my labtop setup it"s need password i forgit it i can"t enter to my computer setup to change boot and other option

I've got a hash code "12932" When I start my laptop and hit F2 it is asking me for my password. I don't even remember setting one. My son gets on this computer when he visits some of his buddies so I don't have a clue what to do next. Can I clear it or reset it or should it head for the dumpster?
