I need help on HDMI cables in general and its use for my xbox 360?

i just need to know what the hdmi cable is used for and whats the diff between the hdmi cable and RGB wires that come with the xbox 360.

when hooking up my xbox should the hdmi cable and RGB wires be in the TV at the same time?

HDMI gives you the best picture. You can't use both cables at the same time.

If your TV has an HDMI socket in the back of it, just use the HDMI cable.  You only need one of them.

The HDMI cable would always be the best one to use if your TV supports it as it gives you the best picture.
