For French 3, I'm doing a project on a french-speaking country I picked out. In this case, I picked Belgium, and as part of the assignment, I'm supposed to discuss what type of clothing to wear on a vacation in Feb and in July there. What is the weather like in both Feb. and July? And what should tourists wear when going there?

  1. First you should make a difference between the southern part of the country "Les Ardennes" and the northern. "Le plat pays".The south is about 4 to 5ºC colder.

But what should you wear : in winter what you would wear if you visited Quebec, but a Quebec 15 to 20º C warmer!

In summer: what you would wear when visiting Toronto. In between it can be very grey with weeks of cold drizzle so do not forget rain gear.

  2. Actually? sunglasses and a sun protection!!!lol But normally, the weather is rather rainy, "grey" and cold at these periods

  3. With the changes in world climate, you never know but February

is winter in Belgium anyway,so winter clothes,as for July it could

be very hot but it will rain anyway from time to time
