How do I lvl up? and Which Character class is the best? Will SOTS be free for ever? and how long has it been out????

You level up by killing monsters and doing quests, both of which earn you exp.

Each class is different, and has it's own ups and downs. As an acolyte, you have little attack and defense power, however, are the most treasured in the game, having both healing power, and the ability to "buff" people, increasing their attack and defense power, as well as other things.

As a squire, you have higher defense and attack power, they are normally the "tanks" of the game, which means they are the one that do the most damage. They attack from close distance, so it would be best to have an acolyte nearby to help them.

Magicians have probably the highest attack power, and they attack from a distance, like acolytes. However, they have little to no defense against monsters, and use up mana very quickly, making it a expensive class to be.

A neophyte is also a close level fighter, and they are fast and quick, with slightly less defense power than a squire. They are the fastest, and have special abilities including becoming invisible.

After you reach certain levels, you can have class changes, one at level 45, and another at level 66, those being the first two class changes. After that, there are two more.

They are planning to keep SoS free, although there is a cash shop that uses real life money to buy better items. It has been out for a few months now.
